1) Step One

Go to Global Configuration and select Yes in all the SEO Settings

Search Engine Friendly – Yes
Use Apache mod-rewrite – Yes
Add a suffix to URL’s – Yes
as shown in below image

2) Step Two

In your Public-html there is a file called htaccess.txt
Open the file in Notepad . There you will find a word # Rewritebase /
Change it with Rewritebase / ( Remove the Hash comment in beginning )

3) Step Three

Now save the file and rename the file from
htaccess.txt to   .htaccess ( Add a dot in front and remove .txt from end )

4) Step Four

That’s  it. Now you Joomla Site is SEO Friendly
