How to Remove ‘Welcome to the Frontpage’ Title
Joomla displays “Welcome to the Frontpage” title on your Frontpage as default. For some of first-time Joomla users, it is hard to find where to get rid of the title from the front page. Here is how to remove it:
- Go to your administrator page
- Menus > Main Menu
- Click on “Home” link in the menu page
- Click on Parameters System and change or delete the Page title
If you change the Page title, changed title will be displayed on your Frontpage as a title.
If you delete the Page title, the name of Menu link will be displayed on your Frontpage as a title (e.g. “Home” will be displayed as the title).
If you don’t want to display any title, set Show Page Title below Page title parameter to “No” - Save the change
